Over the last 4 or 5 weeks I've grown a beard. I've done that once before, in college, and it didn't look very good. I've had a gotee a couple of times in my adult life and never felt it was really 'me' either. I was quite ready to let loose the mortal beard but thought since it was probably a one shot deal I should make it an event. It was no event, but here's how it went down:

OH MY GOSH! THAT WAS FREAKIN HILARIOUS! I can't believe the awesome timeing of this film's release after our text messahe exchange today. Worm Hole, indeed!
After watching this at least 100 times in a row, I have to say that I'm disappointed that in the Grim Reaper scene that you didn't try to shave with the sickle! That's where the movie is vastly different than the book. I loved the book of how you shaved your beard and the movie version just doesn't do it justice. Still, it's better than "Magnolia"...that piece of @#$&.
Now THAT was a movie worth losing a VCR to! What a great ride! I have to say....I didn't think the guy in the first bathroom scene was actually you - not grim reaper guy, that was SO you - but saddened guy. I had to watch the credits on that one....would have sworn it was a stunt double. But good times all around. What's next? Cannes? Sundance?
Dude - that was hilarious. First, your shaving skills are impressive: a full beard shave without any nicks. When you threw in a couple "against the grain" strokes, I couldn't tell if you were in the zone, or just showing off.
Has anyone ever told you that, without the beard, you kinda look like George Clooney?
Paul - You have way too much time on your hands.... I can't believe you have left practicing your table tennis for this.

My dad always thought you looked like Tom Hanks. I think it's just your comedic personality that reminds him of Tom Hanks. Thanks for the great movie! I think you look much younger without the beard. You're always good for a laugh.
Oh, Ferdling's a ringer for Tom Hanks, especially when you throw in the mannerisms. Watch You've Got Mail some time...that's sooooo him.
My favorite is the stare into the mirror. Can't wait for the video of what you shave next. Wait, actually yes I can.
