Maybe some of you noticed something about that phone number. Ring any bells? (so to speak) Turns out its "The Numbers" from the epic television series "LOST" - 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42.
Those numbers play quite a big roll in the series and bring good times as well as doom and destruction. (I guess they still do, I quit watching after season two.) I bet there are some folks out there that would really get freaked out about that. So why are they calling me?
After my second Google search, I learned that it's generated through a service called "prank dialer" and it's just animated laughter or guys making chicken sounds on the other end of the line. I wouldn't know, though, I'm too scared to answer.

That seems like the kind of thing one's Lost-crazed sister might do to you trying to be cute. I'm just saying.
It wasn't me - I hadn't even heard of the gag until Paul told me. But it's Genius. GENIUS! Kind of like when my phone rang right after watching The Ring.
It's "The Home" finally trying to find you for admission. . .
Maybe it's YOUR sign to play those numbers.... For real.
....If the numbers hit, you'll probably only have to split it with only 12,000 other "Lost" souls. Although, I don't think viewership is still that high.
Do the numbers play a roll or a role with the tv series?
